Bradley P. Knypstra

Mr. Knypstra is one of the rare breed of attorneys that look forward to taking your case to trial if necessary. Mr. Knypstra believes that you have to be committed to take a client’s case as far as necessary to protect their rights.

 

Mr. Knypstra is incredibly passionate in his quest for your rights. He is one of the few attorneys in the nation that have been trained at the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College. Gerry Spence gained national fame as an attorney best known for never losing a criminal case, nor a civil case, since 1969 (he was inducted into the American Trial Lawyers Hall of Fame in 2009). Mr. Knypstra has been practicing Law for over 19 years, and completed his training with Mr. Spence in 2010. Mr. Knypstra has recently tried over 25 cases to verdict.

Mr. Knypstra earned is Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from California State University, Fullerton. Immediately after college, he worked for an accounting firm in Newport Beach performing audits and tax assignments for local businesses. He ultimately, received his law degree from Western State University, College of Law in 1994. He was accepted into the California State Bar in 1995.

 

Mr. Knypstra is a member of the National Board of Trial Advocacy, American Association for Justice, Million Dollar Advocates Forum, as well as the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

Robert A. Zermeno

Robert A. Zermeno is a proven trial lawyer who represents plaintiffs in personal injury, employment, and business litigation claims.  He has been licensed to practice law in California since 2005.  In addition to first chair and second chair trial experience, Mr. Zermeno has substantial experience assisting clients with risk management, contract formation and negotiation and construction law. 

Mr. Zermeno is an expert in all phases of litigation and case management. He has taken hundreds of depositions including plaintiffs, defendants, expert witnesses and corporate officers and has handled the defense at deposition of physicians, employers, employees, corporate officers and expert witnesses. He has successfully resolved hundreds of claims through arbitrations, mediations, informal settlement negotiations and dismissals for corporations, individuals and professionals. He has been designated as a Southern California Super Lawyer in civil litigation and a “Rising Star” in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 (reserved for the top 2.5% of attorneys under the age of 40).

Prior to joining Knypstra Zermeno LLP, Mr. Zermeno served as a shareholder/partner at an international civil litigation defense firm with a success record of over 95 percent in cases that reached a jury verdict conclusion.  In 2019, Mr. Zermeno joined Knypstra Zermeno as a partner after he realized his passion was not in defending insurance companies, but rather working for those injured by wrongdoing.  Mr. Zermeno’s extensive experience working for defense firms provides him with a unique perspective in relation to the tactics and strategies implemented by insurance companies, corporations, and defense attorneys.  This experience allows Mr. Zermeno to represent plaintiffs more effectively and obtain the best possible results.  

Affiliations, Activities and Accomplishments

Mr. Zermeno is admitted to practice in California and is admitted to the United States District Court of the Central District of California. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, and American Bar Association. While in law school, Mr. Zermeno participated in the International and Comparative Law Study Abroad Program at L’Université de Nice, where he was a student of the late United States Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.  California Super Lawyer “Rising Star” 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.

When not practicing law, Mr. Zermeno enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He lives in Orange County with his wife and two children.
